Jenna and Henry’s Wedding at the Blue Mountain Resort

Jenna and Henry’s Wedding at the Blue Mountain Resort

Jenna and Henry are both very creative awesome people so I knew their wedding was going to be absolutely stunning! They chose a beautifully rustic log cabin next to a wildflower field to get in ready in. Can I get an amen? It’s so nice when both your bride and groom are also in the photography/videography business because they totally get all the weird things I do to find the best light and locations on a wedding day. 🙂 And their bridal party was so kind and clearly would do anything for their friends! Special shoutout to Jenna’s maid of honor, Melissa, and Henry’s best man, Christopher, for being so helpful and friendly the whole day!

Their ceremony took place at the Blue Mountain Ski Resort and OMG THOSE VIEWS!! The ceremony space and ballroom overlook the mountains in the most epic way. And they brought their puppy, Remi, to watch her mom and dad get hitched! So freaking cute!!

Henry is not only very smart and creative, he’s also quite the romantic! Check out their engagement story:

Henry proposed to me in Bermuda. It was actually kind of funny he tried to ask me a few times on that trip but I was absolutely clueless. The first time he tried to ask me on the beach in bermuda. He asked if I wanted to go on a walk with him and explore and being a typical girl I said nooo honey I just want to lay here and tan! Finally he proposed to me under the Bermuda Moongate. The Moongate is very symbolic in Bermuda and they are found several places around Bermuda. They are these limestone arches shaped like wedding bands. It is believed if a couple steps under the arch hand in hand, happiness with endure. First we went up to it to read what it was about and then he walked me under and looked at me and told me he wanted to spend the rest of his life with me. He said a few other things but lets be honest I was burning up with excitement and shock! He asked me to be his wife and of course I said yes!

Congratulations Jenna and Henry! I wish you a lifetime of happiness and love!

I love the story of Jenna’s rings!

Now the engagement ring he had made for me was very special. When we first met on our first date we were sitting in the car talking and I said to him that I am pretty easy going. I said don’t ever get me flowers because they die so quickly and I never understood how that was a sign of love. And to never just buy me jewelry just because. I never was into accessories and jewelry and the only thing I ever wear is something that has meaning and a story behind it. So he decided that my ring was going to be a flower that will never die!

The back of her dress was amazing!!

The Woodland Florist knocked it out of the park!

Henry found this wildflower field for portraits! YESSSSS!

Prettiest bar vignette ever!

Guys, this cake was spinning! How freaking cool is that?
