13 Jul Rachel and Scott’s Wedding at the West Shore Country Club
It feels like just yesterday when Scott’s mom, Kristy, sat down next to me at my friend Molly’s baby shower and said, “So I heard you’re a wedding photographer. My son’s getting married and they’re so cute together. Are you by chance free on June 30?” Well folks, she wasn’t exaggerating because dang- these two are total models and are such sweethearts! I met with Rachel and her sweet momma Dyna (who has the best Southern accent – I could listen to her talk all day!) and we all totally bonded over coffee and girl time.
Scott and Rachel’s engagement took place in the prettiest snowfall back in January so I had to laugh when I saw the weather for their wedding day – surface of the sun hot! Haha, I kid, I’ve seen so much worse and thankfully they chose a beautiful spot in the shade at the country club!
Rachel chose the most beautiful satin gown and had it customized to make her look like an actual angel. Seriously folks, scroll on down and see the gorgeousness! We all had the vapors when she walked out of the dressing area and we got a glimpse of her as a bride for the first time. Literally picture perfect! I love that for the reception, Scott gifted her a pair of white Jordans to wear to match his. Comfort is key friends!
After their lovely outdoor ceremony under the sunlit trees, they danced under the moon and stars on the ceiling of the ballroom, created by Klock Entertainment. Dang it, I wish I could’ve had that for my wedding! Such a cool feature!
Scott and Rachel, I can’t thank you enough for the privilege of being your wedding photographer! I’m so glad you guys found each other and you made my job an absolute joy!
