“Darcey knew Andrew was someone special when she saw him with her dog, Ruger. Andrew instantly fell in love with Ruger and that just made Darcey swoon. She knew if Ruger loved him, he must be a keeper! Andrew knew Darcey was someone special one random night while grocery shopping. Andrew realized as Darcey was picking out frozen pizza that he loved her! He knew there was no one else that he’d want to do the mundane everyday things with.”
I know I always harp on this, but marrying someone you like is so important. Like Andrew said, it makes picking out frozen pizza fun!
Darcey and Andrew had the perfect weather for a winter wedding – leftover snow and a sunny day. SCORE! When we arrived at the gorgeous bridal suite at Heritage Hills Resort, Darcey and her bridesmaids and mama were hanging out in cute matching robes and about to pop some champagne. It’s just not a wedding day without mimosas, folks. Darcey’s gorgeous long sleeved dress looked so beautiful on her that the David’s Bridal social media team shared her photo on their official page! WHAT?? And her bridesmaids wore ROSE GOLD SEQUINS YA’LL. Yassssss!
Their ceremony was held at the beautiful St. Mary’s in York. It has a gorgeous blue arched ceiling with gold accents. And oh my goodness, Andrew’s face when Darcey walked down the aisle. The feels!
When we arrived back to Heritage Hills, the sun was at the perfect glowy spot in the sky for portraits. I may or may not have been squealing my head off. I LOVE the way their portraits turned out between the way they look at each other, the glowy sun, and the sparkly snow. Per. Fection.
At the reception, they had the freaking best version of the money dance I’ve ever seen! There was polka, there was whooping, there was waving of napkins – it was a raucous good time! The energy in the room went through the roof! Congratulations Darcey and Andrew on your beautiful marriage and for throwing an awesome party!
