Remember when you would meet someone on the playground in elementary school and you have so many things in common that you’re like “You’re my best friend now!” That’s how I felt after first meeting Courtney for coffee. We bonded instantly over our love of the Renaissance Faire, cats, Harry Potter, whimsy, Ireland – and the list goes on! And then I got to meet Tony at their engagement and felt the same way. These two are the bee’s freakin knees and I feel like the universe gave me a gift when it sent them my way!
Their wedding day was absolutely gorgeous and unseasonably warm in early April so they were able to have their reception outside in the woods. Perfect for Courtney’s woodland fairytale theme! Their details were so thoughtfully chosen and unique, I was in photog heaven!
I could literally go on and on about them forever, they’re amazing people and absolutely perfect for each other. The way they look at each other – you can tell the rest of the world falls away. And then getting to hang out with them and photograph them in Ireland! I mean – HOW LUCKY AM I?

If you book ANYONE but Lindsey you are making a HUGE mistake. From the moment I met her I knew she was the photographer I wanted to shoot our wedding! The first thing that struck me before we even met was her prompt response to emails. She was extremely communicative throughout the entire process & would answer within 1-2 days. Her website is also beautifully designed & user-friendly. The moment we officially met to discuss her services, I went home to my husband & told him that I was positive she was my long lost best friend. Not only is she friendly, charming, creative, & super sweet, but she also is a professional who has an INCREDIBLE artistic eye & knows exactly what to do to achieve your vision. Lindsey was extremely flexible, gracious, & understanding when scheduling our engagement session, even after 4 different cancellations because Mother Nature was less than cooperative! In true Lindsey fashion, she was exceptionally prepared & sent an “Engagement Photoshoot” tip booklet with all types of advice on what to expect, wear, and a FAQ section! In the days leading up to our engagement session, I was extremely nervous because I hate having photos of myself taken (most of the time I don’t know what to do with my face) but the minute Lindsey met up with us she knew exactly what areas would provide the best photos & light. Her humor & genuine excitement mixed with her confidence in her skills made us trust her completely. She gave amazing encouragement from behind the camera lens & before we knew it we were having tons of fun! Afterwards, Lindsey emailed us our photos so quickly & they were exactly what I had dreamed of: light, airy, romantic, & ethereal! We got so many compliments & we loved them so much that we had trouble choosing one for our “Save the Dates.” Shortly after, Lindsey sent us another booklet of info chock full of helpful information for our wedding day including a form to complete that lists our vendors & photo requests, & examples of timelines to make sure everything stayed organized. We had a phone call a month before our big day and she definitely left no stone un-turned when it came to our timeline & making sure our priority photos were on her list. Not to mention she was beyond helpful at answering email after email with all of my random questions. The day of the wedding Lindsey was an absolute dream. She kept us on task, on time, and was truly like a friend who was on a special mission to capture amazing photos (which of course she definitely did not disappoint). Our friends, our family, & the bridal/groomsmen party adored her. She was fantastic throughout the entire day & any single photo whim that popped into my head she was there to capture. The DAY AFTER the wedding she sent us our highlight gallery & I bawled like a baby. She sent us some ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL photos! A week after our wedding, we had the opportunity to meet up with Lindsey in Ireland to have photos taken on our honeymoon & they were honestly breathtaking & better than I could’ve ever imagined. Moral of the story is, Lindsey’s photography truly says it all. She is talented, professional, knowledgeable, & an all around fantastic person. She hands-down provides some of the most beautiful wedding photography I’ve ever seen & my husband & I truly feel like we’ve gained a friend. If you want light & dreamy photos & a photographer with an amazing personality who feels like your own personal cheerleader please LOOK NO FURTHER than Lindsey Ford!!
