Alyssa and Jim's engagement session felt like a mini-vacation! Mike and I ventured down earlier in the day to take in the sights and then met up with Alyssa and Jim in Old City Philadelphia at Elfreth's Alley, which is the oldest residential street in the nation. How cool is that!! The joy and love they have for each other absolutely shines on their faces and we had SO much fun hanging out with them! October needs to get here fast for their wedding at the Farm at Eagles Ridge! I can't freaking wait!!
Lauxmont Farms and Gardens are always beautiful, but when it's a beautiful, warm sunny day, they really shine! I'm so glad Emily and Connor had such perfect weather! They're one of the most laid-back and lovely couples I've ever had the pleasure of photographing. And I'm low-key jealous of their families. They're both blessed with big and wonderful families who surround them with love and support and know how to tear up a dance floor!
This was the real royal wedding of 2018. (Sorry Meghan and Harry!) It was a perfect warm cloudy day with a hint of mist, which looked perfect with the rolling hills behind Liberty Forge. Christina and Dan chose a purple and silver color scheme, adding even more royalty to their big day! Plus she loves owls and I do too, so I was freaking out over her purse and owl next to the gift table. ? They tied the knot under the gorgeous white ceremony tent and hosted a beautiful reception in the Liberty Forge ballroom! I have to give a special shoutout to Patty at About Weddings who made the most incredible cake with beautiful sugar flowers! My second shooter, Taylor, and I just had to taste it and WOW it was soooo good!
I'm so glad Darcey and Andrew requested a springtime flowery engagement session because GUYS - THOSE TREES AND FLOWERS THO! They're absolutely lovely together and they're furparents to the cutest boxer pup, Ruger! I'm so excited for their wedding at Heritage Hills next spring!
The first words out of my mouth after Sarah and David told me their story was "That's right out of a romance novel and I am HERE FOR IT." These two love each other fiercely and beautifully and man am I lucky to have witnessed it.
Sarah and David have an incredible story that is right out of a romance novel! Writing is not my forte, so I'm going to let Sarah tell you more about why they chose downtown Harrisburg as a walk down memory lane for their engagement photos...
