05 Sep Megan and Ryan’s Wedding at Historic Acres of Hershey
Wedding days are often described as perfect, but Megan and Ryan’s truly was. Everything went on without a single hitch and everyone had such a great time! It was the perfect kind of bright overcast day and it wasn’t too hot, which is rare at the end of summer. When I walked into the farmhouse to see Megan and her bridesmaids in the morning, they were all relaxing in adorable matching robes sipping mimosas from their customized champagne flutes. Can every morning start like that? ?
The first thing I do on a wedding day is immediately look for the dress. I love seeing what brides choose so I can geek out with them. And holy cow – Megan’s dress was exquisite!! It had a light gray underlay with the most delicate floral applique tulle overlay. ?? It was truly a work of art and she looked amazing in it!
They each wrote their own vows for their ceremony and in his, Ryan promised to never let Megan get hangry. If I didn’t have a camera in my hands, I would’ve slow clapped. Best promise ever! After a super tasty cocktail hour (in which my buddy/second shooter Matt Stambaugh and I made friends with the JDK staff to snag some treats), the party was on! DJ Mast kept the dance floor packed all night and everyone had an absolute blast!
Best wishes to the new Mr. and Mrs. Duffy! I wish you a lifetime of happiness, laughter, and of course good food! ?
