Most people don't meet their soulmates in high school. But you only have to spend five minutes with Afton and Josiah to see that they are one of those rare perfect matches. It's cliche but it's true - when they look at each other, there's a massive spark. And not only are they adorable together, but they're also so funny and a joy to be around!

Wedding days are often described as perfect, but Megan and Ryan's truly was. Everything went on without a single hitch and everyone had such a great time! It was the perfect kind of bright overcast day and it wasn't too hot, which is rare at the end of summer. When I walked into the farmhouse to see Megan and her bridesmaids in the morning, they were all relaxing in adorable matching robes sipping mimosas from their customized champagne flutes. Can every morning start like that? 😎

Samantha and Jordan brought their adorable pet bunny for portraits and her flower girls were her grandmas. Do you need any more incentive to check out their adorable details? 😍 They had the perfect sunny summer day up at Bell Mountain Estates. And when we arrived for the getting ready portion of the day, her bridesmaids greeted me with open arms and offers of any assistance needed. Sam and Jordan picked the most wonderful friends and family to be part of her wedding and they all made such a huge impact on an already wonderful day!

It rained all day on the day Trevor proposed to Kelly and at their engagement session so it was only fitting that it rained all day for their wedding too. :-) I personally love rainy day weddings, especially at a venue like Linwood Estate. The inside is absolutely beautiful and you can't beat the gorgeous front porch for portraits.

It feels like just yesterday when Scott’s mom, Kristy, sat down next to me at my friend Molly’s baby shower and said, “So I heard you’re a wedding photographer. My son’s getting married and they’re so cute together. Are you by chance free on June 30?” Well folks, she wasn’t exaggerating because dang- these two are total models and are such sweethearts! I met with Rachel and her sweet momma Dyna (who has the best Southern accent - I could listen to her talk all day!) and we all totally bonded over coffee and girl time.

I don’t even know where to start when talking about everything I loved about Matt and Kristi’s wedding! When Matt first reached out to me, I was super excited because I LOVE working at the Lincoln Railroad and Visitor Center in Gettysburg. Not only are they gorgeous venues, the people who work there are incredibly kind and go above and beyond for each couple to ensure their wedding is perfect! And then when I got to meet Matt and Kristi at their engagement, I was thrilled because they’re the perfect type of people to work with. They’re so in love with each other, down for anything, and so chill! Made my job incredibly fun!

Abby and Patrick grew up in the same town, went to the same church and high school, but didn’t officially meet until after college! Fate sure has funny timing, but these two couldn’t be more made for each other! They're seriously the sweetest and sunniest people so I was keeping my fingers crossed for beautiful weather for their big day. And thankfully the weather matched Abby and Pat perfectly!

Sean and Danielle both stated in their vows that life took them on quite a few journeys that led them to each other. They’re one of those couples who match each other’s vibes perfectly. Their senses of humor match, their personalities complement each other perfectly, and frankly, they’re just darn cute together! On the morning of the wedding, Sean surprised Danielle with a balloon filled with Taylor Swift tickets. Duuuude what an awesome new hubby move!

Lauxmont Farms and Gardens are always beautiful, but when it's a beautiful, warm sunny day, they really shine! I'm so glad Emily and Connor had such perfect weather! They're one of the most laid-back and lovely couples I've ever had the pleasure of photographing. And I'm low-key jealous of their families. They're both blessed with big and wonderful families who surround them with love and support and know how to tear up a dance floor!

This was the real royal wedding of 2018. (Sorry Meghan and Harry!) It was a perfect warm cloudy day with a hint of mist, which looked perfect with the rolling hills behind Liberty Forge. Christina and Dan chose a purple and silver color scheme, adding even more royalty to their big day! Plus she loves owls and I do too, so I was freaking out over her purse and owl next to the gift table. 😍 They tied the knot under the gorgeous white ceremony tent and hosted a beautiful reception in the Liberty Forge ballroom! I have to give a special shoutout to Patty at About Weddings who made the most incredible cake with beautiful sugar flowers! My second shooter, Taylor, and I just had to taste it and WOW it was soooo good!
