Want to begin your marriage adventure in the magical world of DND? Begin by creating invitations styled like DND quest scrolls, complete with fantasy-themed fonts and illustrations. Tables could be named after famous DND realms or characters, each adorned with corresponding decor like miniature dragons or character figurines as centerpieces. Couples might even opt for themed attire, with subtle nods to character classes or incorporating elements of armor and elegant fantasy-inspired accessories. 

I recently shot an elven x  DND inspired wedding at the PA Renaissance Faire, and it was such a blast. The decor and details Xena and Erik chose were spot on, which allowed us to get so creative with the photos we captured. Their whole wedding party leaned into the theme with their attire too!

3. Sci-Fi Spectacular: Star Wars Galactic Unions

Arguably the best of all fandom wedding themes, I was so stoked to check the Star Wars themed wedding off my wedding photography bucket list in 2023! The force is strong with couples embracing this galactic wonderland. Picture a blend of elegant attire with subtle nods to the galaxy far, far away. Opt for Leia-inspired hairdos or dapper styles reminiscent of Han Solo for the groom. Or take it to the next level by wearing a handmade replica of Padme Amidalas wedding dress from SixOn Clothing. • Finding a venue reminiscent of a castle or a medieval hall would set the perfect tone.
• Incorporate elements of winter, perhaps with fur throws, white flowers, and snowy decorations, to evoke the North.
• Consider hiring musicians to play the show’s iconic score or medieval-style music.
• Serve a medieval-style feast with hearty dishes reminiscent of the show’s settings.

6. Fairytales & Folklore: Disney-Inspired Wedding Ideas

Step into a fairytale with a Disney-inspired wedding. Whether you’re a Disney classic fanatic or from the modern Disney era (read: Frozen, Brave, and Moana), embrace iconic Disney characters and motifs for a truly whimsical day. Disney hairstyle ideas I love:

• Some people project their new monogram onto the dance floor, but picture this in its stead: the Bat-signal.
