The Ballroom at Ellis Preserve is so elegant with such a refined, yet fun, vibe. Which is exactly how I would describe Catherine and Eric. I fell in love with them at their engagement session where we had tons of fun frolicking around in sunset-lit fields so I knew it would be a fun day. But oh boy was I seriously underestimating how amazing it would be!

I can’t recommend the Ballroom at Ellis Preserve enough for couples looking to tie the knot in November. The venue’s grand ballroom, with its towering ceilings, crystal chandeliers, and elegant windows, creates a stunning backdrop for every wedding. I love capturing the way natural light floods the space, and the surrounding manicured grounds are perfect for those intimate outdoor shots that highlight the season’s beauty.

Catherine and Eric’s Wedding Day

The day started out with Catherine and her bridesmaids singing and dancing at the top of their lungs and having an absolute blast with each other. You don’t see that often, especially not before cocktail hour. When we got to Saint Mary Magdalen for their ceremony, you could feel a palpable excitement in the air. People weren’t just there for an excuse to get dressed up, they were so ready for these two to tie the knot and make it official. And when Eric saw her walk down the aisle and had to turn around to process it – everyone was crying. It was so beautiful!

And I now know what it would be like to photograph a celebrity wedding. The guests were absolutely dying to congratulate these two and spend time with them. When the reception started, the energy and love was off the charts! Jay Roy is such an awesome DJ, the dance floor was completely packed all night.
