Before diving into their gorgeous wedding, you have to read Nick and Colleen’s awesome proposal story! This is one of the most romantic stories (with a side of tech nerd) I’ve ever heard.
“Nick created a website for a (fake, but totally believable) traveling beer garden that started in Philadelphia and worked its way across the state throughout the summer of 2018, stopping each weekend at a different park in Lancaster, Harrisburg, and Pittsburgh. The beer garden stopped at a lot of parks that we had been to together, while one or both of us was living in each of those places. It even stopped at Mt Gretna (which is where our first date was!). About a week before the proposal, Nick conspired with one of our friends and had them send me the event link and invite me to go to the first stop (at Belmont Plateau on a Friday night in April). I was super excited, and sent the link to a bunch of people, including friends living in Harrisburg/Pittsburgh, my siblings and parents and even made plans to go to a few of the other nearby locations (haha). Needless to say, I was super surprised to arrive at Belmont Plateau, get out of my car, and find (no beer garden, but) Nick on the other side of the park walking towards me. As he got closer, I realized he was holding a bouquet of roses and a small box, and the realization of what was happening took over! There was even a photographer hiding behind me to capture the entire thing, with a beautiful view of the city behind us. We celebrated with dinner and champagne at one of our favorite restaurants! It was the best day ever – so far!”

Can’t even handle it! That needs to be made into a movie scene, stat. Nick and Colleen had the most gorgeous blue toned wedding which was perfect for these Penn State grads!
