I'll be your wedding day fairy godmother/hype woman. Wanna know a little secret? That little nervous feeling you have about being awkward on camera? Every. Single. Couple. on here felt the exact same way at first. I promise I'll never leave you two hanging. You'll get jaw-dropping ethereal images all while having a freaking blast!

Hi, I'm LINDSEY.

What happens when a lederhosen-clad man, Santa Claus, a unicorn, and a pickle all walk into a room? Well, Lacie and Jon’s wedding, naturally! There was no shortage of laughs, tears, silliness, crazy costumes, and breathtaking moments during this epic June wedding at the College of Physicians. I had the absolute joy of photographing Lacie and Jon’s gorgeous love letter to Philly at this iconic venue, and I’m so excited to share all the details!

The College of Physicians: An Unexpectedly Romantic Venue

A medical history museum might not seem like the most romantic backdrop for a wedding day, but The Mütter Museum at the College of Physicians is an undeniable exception. The elegant Beaux-Arts façade, indoor and outdoor gathering spaces, and top-notch on-site catering are just a few of its standout features.

Where is the Mutter Museum Located?

The Mutter Museum is located within the College of Physicians at 19 S 22nd St, Philadelphia, PA 19103. It’s just a block over from Market St. and easy walking distance from several popular Philly photoshoot locations. Originally founded in 1787 by Thomas Dent Mütter, the College of Physicians of Philadelphia contains the Mutter Museum, a medical library, and the F.C. Wood Institute.

Adoration, joy, and pure, blissful happiness. These are the words that flooded my mind as I looked back through Lacie and Jon’s extensive wedding gallery. It’s clear as day in their expressions alone—these two genuinely could not be more in love with each other!

Bride and groom walk hand-in-hand through the Rodin garden, smiling at each other beneath a light drizzle and framed by lush greenery.

Lacie and Jon’s downtown wedding portraits took us to not only one, but three historic museums in Philadelphia.

Bride and groom walking hand-in-hand in the dreamy courtyard garden of the Rodin Museum, with reflections dancing in the fountain behind them.

The Rodin Museum, made even more iconic by the presence of Lacie and Jon.

Joyful bride and groom walking up the iconic steps of the Philadelphia Museum of Art, smiling at each other in mid-laughter.

With its grandiose columns and sweeping city views, the Philadelphia Museum of Art is a dream backdrop for Philly wedding photos.

Lacie wore the Alessia gown by ÉLYSÉE. This classic and romantic mermaid silhouette features hand-beaded, all-over lace, sequin Chantilly lace, a plunging V-neckline, and double sculpted train.

Within the historic halls of the Mutter Museum, Jon serenaded Lacie with a piano medley he composed just for her. It had various scores from movies and songs she loved. We all swooned and cried, it was amazing!

Then he provided the comic relief by also acting a complete fool, bringing endless laughs out of his bride and their wedding party all day long.

The magnificent columned Marble Rotunda and classic grand staircase make the most elegant photo backdrop!

“…if anyone was perfect for me, it was her.”

Ceremony in the Garden at The College of Physicians

After jewels fell from the sky in the form of raindrops, the sun broke through in the most glorious way, showering Lacie and Jon’s outdoor herb garden ceremony in warm, golden rays. And when they spoke the most tender vows to each other, the tears fell, too.

Jon, a lifelong lover of music and creativity, spoke of how Lacie not only embraced every part of who he is—but helped him feel safe enough to share the most sacred parts of himself. From their shared memories in New York to his proposal at the Academy of Music, his love story with Lacie is one built on support, depth, and the kind of trust that invites you to let your guard down completely.

Their vows weren’t just beautiful—they were a culmination of vulnerability, devotion, and the quiet promise to keep creating life together.

College of Physicians Wedding Reception at Mitchell Hall

As if these two needed a way to make the day more impressive, Lacie curated and arranged all their wedding florals herself! The reception tablescapes were beautifully set; the earthy green and white color palette allowing the grandeur of the room to speak for itself.

One epic outfit change, a late-night pizza session, and two jumbo cat cutouts later, the most beautifully chaotic wedding reception was well underway. There was no better way to end this perfect day!

What It’s Like to Work With Me

Getting to know my couples as more than just clients is my “why” for doing what I do.

Lacie and Jon left this beautiful testimonial with me right after their big day:

There are not enough words that I can use to emphasize, compliment, or appreciate what Lindsey does and who she is… From the very first phone call, Lindsey’s endearing and enthusiastic energy absolutely shines. We knew immediately that we had to have her be our photographer! … She is truly on a completely different stratosphere when it comes to making you feel comfortable with the process of a photoshoot. I will be the first to admit I was extremely nervous for our engagement shoot… One of Lindsey’s greatest strengths is her ability to connect to you as a person. She builds a relationship with you and you can feel that she genuinely cares about you… She knows when to dial up energy and hype you up, but also knows when to be a calming and supportive person… She is excellent with giving direction for poses and capturing you in photos that always looks incredible. Our wedding was so incredibly special because of Lindsey’s fantastic energy during the day, and that’s before we even got a single photo back… She has such a talent for being able to capture such incredibly intimate photos… without the need to shove a camera in people’s faces (we had a lot of guests compliment this to us!). Her work is absolutely breathtaking and she is a master of her craft. When you book Lindsey, you are getting the absolute best in the business whose photos are just as amazing as she is a person.

Emotional groom wiping away tears as he sees his bride for the first time during their first look, framed by soft florals and her cascading veil.
Bride and groom share a kiss at the top of the Philadelphia Museum of Art steps, with the skyline rising behind them like something out of a movie.

Jon and I also bonded over our love of the Titanic so much so that he brought a Titanic t-shirt during getting ready and did the Titanic bow pose with his groomsmen.

Lacie and Jon’s wedding was a celebration of love, laughter, and unapologetic individuality—all inside one of the most iconic (and delightfully unexpected) venues Philly has to offer. Forever obsessed with these two, this place, and this day.
