When Rebecca casually mentioned during their session that she’s a massive civil war history buff, two things simultaneously happened. 1.) My nerdy heart jumped for joy and 2.) I was very grateful that I hadn’t tried to share any historical fun facts that were likely very exaggerated or misremembered from my childhood trips there. And she and Billy named their adorable Goldendoodle “Yankee Doodle”. I mean… you couldn’t pick a more on brand name. I get to photograph the coolest people. 

And can we take a moment to appreciate Rebecca’s ponytail look for her second outfit? Not many people go for a ponytail and it worked beautifully with her gorgeous black and white dress. A-mazing.
