My first post of 2025 goes out to an extra special winter wedding, which I can only describe as angelic. From the sunset ceremony to the wintertime trimmings, it was a day straight out of a Hallmark movie. Except better. Because it was real, and there were no cheesy misunderstandings or fake snow. Brianna and Anthony hosted a swoon-worthy sunset winter wedding at Terrain Devon, and pure love, family, and golden hour moments stole the show.

The Beginnings of Love
If you were ever skeptical about the concept of finding your soulmate mid-burpee, let the record show: Brianna and Anthony’s story gives hope to fitness enthusiasts everywhere! Picture it: two gym-goers in Landenberg spontaneously crossed paths and somehow turned post-workout sweat into a forever kind of glow. Fast forward a decade (and countless protein shakes later), and Anthony sealed the deal with a proposal at The Reeds at Shelter Haven in Stone Harbor.
Fun fact: I shot Brianna’s brother Chad’s wedding last year, so meeting and working with these two felt like hanging out with old friends. (Chad and Kelly, if you’re reading this—hi!)
Winter Wedding Photography at Terrain Devon
You don’t always need a deep, sentimental reason to pick your PA wedding venue—sometimes, pretty is enough. And pretty doesn’t even begin to describe this place. From the lush greenery to the cozy-yet-chic vibes, it was like the venue was made for this decade long love affair.

Some of my favorite aspects of this space are…
Terrain Devon Venue Highlights
- Indoor-outdoor garden inspired venue
- 45 minutes outside of Philadelphia
- Modern amenities with a warm and inviting atmosphere
- 140-guest seated capacity with a dance floor
- Smaller on site venue space available with a 66 seated/100 standing capacity (The Atrium)
- In house catering and beverage packages
- Exclusive preferred vendors list (here!)

Getting Ready Process & Outfit Details
Brianna started her day surrounded by her favorite women, fueled by champagne and Chick-fil-A—the breakfast of champions. She wore Paris – Venise Chanel perfume (so chic), rocked Hollywood glam waves, and slipped into a stunning illusion corset wedding gown (one of my favorite 2025 wedding dress trends!) adorned with delicate beading. Her classic white block heels and elegant tulle veil were the perfect finishing touches to her bridal ensemble. She looked like she stepped out of a bridal fashion editorial!

Anthony paired a sophisticated black tux and suspenders with silver cuff links, a sharp bowtie, and Dior Sauvage. As far as groom’s looks go, this is about as good as it gets. But the best part of his look? The fact that from the moment Brianna tapped on his shoulder during their first look, he never once took his eyes off of her. Swoon.

No Wedding Party, No Problem
Another 2025 wedding trend I noticed at Brianna and Anthony’s big day: no wedding party. They got ready alongside their people but skipped the matching outfits and giant wedding squad during their outdoor sunset ceremony. It made the day feel so intimate and special—like it was all about them and their closest people. And honestly? I think more couples should do this.

The way these two looked at each other had me smiling behind my camera nonstop. These are the moments that make wedding photography the best job in the world.
Where Is Terrain Devon?
The last wedding I shot at Terrain Devon was in springtime (equally as gorgeous!) so I was super excited to capture the seasonal decor displayed during a winter wedding at Terrain.

This gorgeous mixed use venue concept began in 2008 with its flagship location, Terrain at Styer’s, in Glen Mills, PA at 914 Baltimore Pike. Ten years later, Terrain Gardens at Devon Yard opened its doors, alongside premium retailers like Terrain Garden and Home, Anthropologie, and AnthroWeddings.
Terrain Devon is located at 138 W Lancaster Ave, Devon, PA 19333, just 45 minutes outside of Philadelphia.
Preferred Vendor Team
This celebration was all about quality over quantity when it came to vendors. Marcus Hook Florist absolutely killed it with classic white blooms, bringing just the right amount of magic to the day. In house catering and beverages were expertly handled by Terrain’s staff. And, not to toot my own horn, but I had the honor of capturing every little moment.

Planning a Winter Wedding at Terrain Devon
From the way Anthony looked at Brianna as she walked down the aisle to the warm glow of the sunset as they said “I do,” every moment of this day was a reminder of why I love what I do. Being part of a love story like theirs is the kind of thing that makes me believe in happily ever afters all over again.
