The hand-carved garden statuary is one of many lovingly placed details that make HollyHedge Estate a visually rich estate.

Say your vows in the garden, beside a floral-draped fountain, or toast in the twinkle-lit barn reception hall. Add in the balcony overlooking the fountain courtyard, intricate statues and sculptures, and the unmistakable candlelit warmth of the evening—and what you get is a venue brimming with intimate, old-world beauty and a cozy, fairytale feel.

The History of the Estate

If you’re planning a wedding day that exudes classic Pennsylvania character, you won’t find a more worthy contender than Holly Hedge Estate in New Hope.

Initially, guests are greeted by a rustic stone barn with green shutter doors. This charming welcome sets the tone for a day full of warmth and elegance.

A fellow by the name of Watson Fell built HollyHedge in the 1780s. Since then, over five generations of families have poured their love and creativity into the estate’s evolution. The property was last purchased in 1994 by the Luccaro family, who transformed it into the present-day country estate known for hosting elegant events.

In the 1960s, HollyHedge hosted students across the country as a premier performing arts academy. “Arts amidst the fields” offered outdoor classes and performances in music, theater, modern dance, and ballet to the greater community.”

Unique Features of HollyHedge Estate

So what makes HollyHedge Estate the perfect Bucks County wedding venue? Below are just a few of my favorite features!

  • HollyHedge Estate is a family-owned and operated wedding venue that promotes love for all.
  • The venue has been serving couples for over 25 years.
  • Their wedding galleries are organized by season, so you can see how the venue looks year-round. (I’m partial to fall when the leaves change or spring when the cherry blossoms are in full bloom, but the property is stunning year-round!)
  • The venue boasts an award-winning catering team with local distributors and farmers to support seasonal menu items.
  • They offer indoor and outdoor options to customize your wedding day to your specific vision.
  • The on-site HollyHedge Inn houses 15 rooms, which are available for for your wedding guests.
  • They have a team of 3-4 coordinators who work with couples throughout the planning process and a team of 2 who work with you on your wedding day.
  • They pride themselves on fostering environmentally-friendly wedding services.

Not to mention, the property is simply dripping in cottagecore and sprinkled with fairy essence. 😉
